Model Making Activity
Om Public School continually strives to balance work with play and makes academics fun and interesting for the students. Keeping this noble idea in mind, Model Making Activity for all subjects was organised for all the students from Grade I-VIII.

Model making is an activity that involves conceptual as well as theoretical knowledge to make learning and retention more profound and strong. The main aim of this activity is to encourage students to make the models on their own during the live class without the help of their parents and they were monitored by their respective teachers, who showed them the video on how to make the models. These events are a fun filled activity-based learning time for the students. It expands their ability to think and design their own easy to use affordable scientific and mathematical models. Model Making was conducted even in English, Hindi, Social Studies and Computers. The students got an array of material to make their astounding models. The Model Making Activity did generate an interest among the students. The students had a new avenue to express themselves and, in the process, gain more knowledge in an enjoyable manner. Learning is facilitated when students themselves play an important role in the learning process. Thus Model Making Activity has been incorporated in our school as a teaching-learning tool to encourage and motivate students who lack intrinsic motivation.
